Mahindra has gained popularity among the people right from the beginning and once again Mahindra has attracted the attention of its traffic. The teaser of the Vision T concept has attracted people’s attention. Its model is based on the old EV model of the car, but this time changes have been made in both its design and technology. Its official reveal will take place on 15 August 2025 at the Freedon NU event in Mumbai. This is not just the trailer of a new electric SUV, but is also the blueprint of Mahindra’s electric future.
Platform & Design Vision T Concept
Mahindra’s Vision T Concept EV is based on INGLO (India Global) which is a modular EV platform that will be used for Mahindra’s upcoming EV car. It will include modern features like dual motor setup and fast charging. Its boxy and muscular body reflects the classic Thar dynasty while the larger wheelbase provides better space and enhanced off-roading capability. Squared-off wheel arches, futuristic LED lighting, and modern signature lights front and rear further enhance its bold and urban look. The concept is designed for people who want to conquer wild terrains along with leading an urban lifestyle.

Battery, Range aur Performance Expectations
The exact specifications of the Mahindra Vision T concept in terms of battery, range and performance have not been officially announced yet but according to reports, it could get a battery pack ranging from 60kWh to 80kWh. This battery pack can deliver an estimated range of 400–500 km on a single charge, making it suitable for long-distance travel as well. Charging capabilities will also be quite impressive, with 175 kW DC fast charging support, which can charge the vehicle from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes. On the performance front, a dual motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is expected, which will further enhance off-road capabilities and power delivery. With these expected specs, the Vision Thar.e seems ready to take on competitors like the Rivian, Ford Bronco EV, and the Suzuki Jimny EV in the global electric SUV category.
Smart Features and Interior Expectations
Despite being an off-road vehicle, the Vision T concept will be packed with modern technology and premium features making it a futuristic EV SUV. Expected smart features include AI-based terrain detection and multiple drive modes that will optimise the vehicle according to different road conditions. The interior will get a fully digital driver display and connected infotainment system that will provide an intuitive and tech-savvy experience. The cabin will be made from sustainable materials that reflect the environment-conscious design philosophy. Through over-the-air (OTA) updates, the vehicle will keep receiving the latest software upgrades without a workshop visit. Features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) are also expected for safety and convenience. Mahindra has a clear focus that the Vision T concept should not just be a rugged off-roader but also an intelligent, luxurious and eco-conscious electric SUV.
