Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear: ₹40 Crore Track Monster with 1625HP Power

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear has officially revealed its new track‑focused hypercar – the Sadair’s Spear, which is based on the Jesko platform but is more aggressive and race‑ready. The name “Sadair’s Spear” is inspired by Jesko, von Koenigsegg’s last racehorse, which he raced in 1976

The vehicle is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 9-speed Light Speed Transmission that features a flywheel-free design for quicker response. It delivers an impressive 1,282 horsepower on regular pump fuel, which increases to a staggering 1,625 horsepower when running on E85 — that’s 25 horsepower more than the Jesko Attack. Additionally, it is around 35 kilograms lighter than the Jesko, with a curb weight of approximately 1,320 kilograms.

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear has a new double-blade rear wing that moves and helps create more downforce even at low speeds, which makes it more stable and easier to control. At the front, it has bigger canards, vents on the hood, small vents above the wheels, and a Gurney flap to improve airflow and grip.

Under the car, special strakes, strong carbon-ceramic brakes, a Triplex suspension system, and lighter springs help it turn better and feel sharper while driving. It can create about 1,765 kg of downforce at high speed, with a good balance between the front and back.

During testing at the Gotland Ring track, it broke the Jesko Attack’s lap record by 1.1 seconds. Its top speed is around 224 mph (360 km/h), which is slower than the Jesko Absolut, but that’s because this version is made more for strong grip and cornering, not just high speed.

The inside of the car is very simple and light. It has special carbon seats, and you can also choose a 6-point seatbelt like in race cars.

Even though Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is made for racing, it still has useful things like a digital display (SmartCluster), a touchscreen (SmartCenter), automatic doors (Autoskin), and parking assist to help with parking.

The cabin is made for racing, but it still has helpful features like a radio and wireless phone charging, so it’s also easy to use every day.

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is a limited edition — only 30 cars were made, and all of them are already sold out. The price is around £3.8 million, which is about ₹40 crore in Indian money, or around $5 million in US dollars.
