Kia India June 2025 Sales Report – YoY drops 3%, Carens surprise to everyone

Kia Carens:- Kia has set a domestic record by selling 20,625 units in June 2025. Whereas in June 2024 it was 21,300 units. This year Kia’s sales have declined by 3%. If compared to May, there has been a decline of 8%. This time Kia’s sales have shown mixed performance. Some modes like Currens have performed well while some have disappointed.

Kia Carens – Real Star of June 2025

Kia Carens surprised everyone this time. Kia Carens sold 7,921 units in June 2025, while its sales were 5,154 units in June 2024 and 4,524 units in May 2025.

  • MoM Growth: +75%

This performance is also remarkable because the demand for Kia Carens was running low for the last few months. But the launch of Carens Clavis variant has boosted its demand. Due to stylish design, more features, and competitive pricing, people are considering this car again.

Sonet is the best kia suv in india, selling just 6,658 units in June 2025 which is 32% less than June 2024 and 17% less than May 2025. Sonet, once the leader of the compact SUV segment, is now lagging behind rivals like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue facelift, and Maruti Brezza. Seltos also sold less in June 2025 compared to the previous months. Honda Elevate and Grand Vitara have increased the competition in the midsize SUV segment.

Kia is rapidly improving its future strategy. With the Sonet facelift and the 5-star Bharat-NCAP rating, its demand has become strong in both urban and rural markets, which boosts the brand’s safety and value image. The next-gen model of the Seltos will be launched around 2026, which will further strengthen Kia’s position in the midsize SUV segment.
